From the Owners: The Amazing Marvin is an owner’s version 2015 Leopard 48, hull #086. Length is 48’ 5" and draft is 4’ 10”. He is USCG-registered (no import duty!) and has 3 bedrooms, 4 showers (one in each bathroom and one deck shower with both hot and cold water), and 3 Jabsco QuietFlush electric heads. The saloon table can be lowered and converted into a bed. We have slept a total of 7 adults (on mattresses) and 4 children (on the saloon bed) comfortably onboard!

From the Builder: From the 360 degree visibility at the helm to the well protected fore and aft cockpits, the Leopard 48 is designed for a modern blue water lifestyle. Stepping on board the wide transoms, you are only 2 steps away from direct access to the cockpit and side decks. The raised helm station offers exceptional visibility and is easily accessed from the cockpit and side deck. The standard electric winch and all lines led aft make short-handed yacht control very manageable. From the helm seat, all sail handling and engine controls are within reach. The Leopard 48 also offers comfortable seating for up to 3 at the helm. The starboard hull is entirely dedicated to the Owner’s suite. The walk around center line queen size bed allows for easy access. The spacious interior dining area can seat up to eight guests comfortably and the dining table can be converted to an optional double berth.

  f. Sterling starter battery isolators used to properly charge and protect starter

  configurable via USB
  h. Electrical system allows up to two air conditioners to be run on battery
  power alone or on one engine with the new alternators (very nice under sail
  in the tropics)
  i. Victron ATR-32A autotransformer used to allow full inverter output to any
  system onboard
  j. Two Victron 3200W isolation transformers installed to allow worldwide
  operation
  k. Smart Masterbus shunts and distributors used to track and fuse DC systems
