BROKER’S REMARKS: This is a rare 2016 Leopard 44 4 cabin / 4 head that has recently finished a phase out refit from The Moorings / Sunsail, and has had a major upgrade of cruising equipment including custom solar arch, 2640 watts of solar, 900ah of Lithium house batteries, 5000w inverter / charger, watermaker (30 gal/hr.), fresh water flush toilets, Mantus 85lbs anchor and swivel, pep wave global cellular modem with antennas, Spendide combo washer / dryer, Induction stove and oven (NO PROPANE NEEDED!), Highfield Classic 360 dinghy with 25hp Yamaha Enduro outboard.
Owners are currently sailing / living onboard in the Virgin Islands. Owner selling because he has been called back to work in 2022.
BUILDER’S REMARKS: The Leopard 44 was „Boat of the Year“ when introduced in 2011. The judges were raving about the speed on the water, easy handling and the revolutionary forward cockpit. The Leopard 44 features two cockpits, one fore and one aft with outside dining area protected by a functional hard-top bimini with mounted solar panels (back side). The galley-up has ample storage and a huge drawer type fridge and freezer. No steps up or down anywhere on the salon level. Sailing the Leopard 44 is easy: both main and jib sheets lead to stoppers and self-tailing (electric) winches directly adjacent to the helm. There’s room for two on the bench-style helm seat, but you need only one to trim sails!
