Sailfish
2006 Leopard 40
SAILFISH features 4 cabins and 2 heads and has been impeccably maintained and lightly Day Chartered with professional Captain and Crew.
The Leopard 40 designed by Alexander Simonis & Maarten Voogd and built by Robertson & Caine, was a big step forward from its predecessor, the Leopard 38. In addition to adding two feet in length, they were able to reduce her displacement by 4,000 pounds without compromising structural integrity or stiffness. She performs quite well under sail and points higher than most cruising catamarans.
Thanks to a well-designed helm, SAILFISH is easy to single hand. The main sheet and genoa sheets are led to the helm and both the primary and secondary winches are within close reach of the helmsman—even when seated. One of the winches is electric making shorthanded sailing even easier.
SAILFISH features a hard top bimini and a one-level cockpit with comfortable seating. She has 4 cabins and 2 heads with separate showers. Her forward cabins have access to two additional berths with mattresses in the forepeaks for extra guests or kids.
The Leopard 40’s speed on the water and easy handling earned it ‘Boat of the Year 2005’ from Cruising World magazine. Guests will enjoy the large cockpit with outside dining area, protected by a functional hard-top bimini, fitted as standard. The galley-up design incorporates a spacious saloon and aft facing galley with a cocktail bar and serving window overlooking the cockpit.
